How to Duplicate a Component in Twin Fabrica

This guide demonstrates how to duplicate a component in Twin Fabrica. We'll use a heat source as an example, though these steps work for any component type.

Steps to Duplicate a Component

1. Open the Heat Sources menu: Click the Heat sources button in the toolbar to view available sources.
2. Select the component to duplicate: In this example, select the heat source named source_1 by clicking it, then right-click to open the context menu.
3. Choose Duplicate: Select the Duplicate option from the context menu.
4. Confirm the duplication: A new component named source_1_copy appears in the Heat source list. This duplicate contains all the configurations of the original component.
5. Verify the duplication: Look for a confirmation message in the logger panel at the bottom of the screen.
6. Verification in the Project tree: Open the Project tree and expand the Heat sources section. You'll see both source_1 and source_1_copy. The duplicate is ready for independent use or editing.
