Software Requirements

The current release is a native Matlab application, requiring the latest Matlab Runtime installed on the machine (24.2). The runtime can be downloaded free of charge at this link.

Supported OS: Windows 10/11

Hardware Requirements

Twin Fabrica is a suite of computationally intensive mathematical libraries. It includes tools for large-scale finite element model solvers, model order reduction techniques, stochastic optimization, and neural network training.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

  • Intel Core i7 (8th Gen)
  • 32 GB RAM

Recommended for Full Performance (Parallelization & GPU Acceleration):

  • Intel Core i7/i9 (14th Gen) or Intel Xeon
  • 48 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU
⚠️ For handling large-scale full-order models (10M+ nodes), additional RAM is required—potentially 128 GB or more depending on the problem size.

Installing Twin Fabrica

Twin Fabrica installation takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to set up the software and begin working with virtual thermal sensor projects.
