Removing Variables from Twin Fabrica

Twin Fabrica lets you remove previously imported external data at any point in your workflow. This feature helps maintain a clean project environment, discard unnecessary variables, and correct import errors. You can remove variables one at a time or in batches using the External Data panel.

Follow these steps to delete variables from your project:

1. Open the External Data Panel

Open the External Data panel from the PROJECT tab.

Under the Import section, click the MAT files button to access the variable management panel.

2. Select the Variable to Remove

Find the variable you want to remove in the Loaded variables list on the right side of the panel.

Click once on the variable to highlight it.

3. Click the Remove Button

With your variable selected, click the Remove button in the lower-right corner of the panel.

This removes the selected variable from the Twin Fabrica workspace.

4. Select Multiple Variables (Optional)

To remove several variables at once, hold down the Shift key and click to select multiple variables from the list.

All selected items will be highlighted.

5. Delete Multiple Variables Simultaneously

With multiple variables selected, click the Remove button.

Twin Fabrica will delete all selected variables at once, streamlining your data management.

6. Check the Logger for Confirmation

The logger panel will display confirmation messages once the selected variables have been removed from the project.

7. Verify in the Workspace Tree

To verify the removal, expand the Workspace node in the left-side navigation tree.

The removed variables should no longer appear in the list.
