How to Enable/Disable Entities in Twin Fabrica

This guide explains how to manage geometry in your Twin Fabrica project by enabling or disabling specific entities.

Steps to Enable/Disable Entities

  1. Disable entities: You can exclude specific parts of geometry from your project by disabling them. Disabled entities won't be imported when setting up a new project, helping you simplify your model by removing unnecessary geometry.
  2. Select an entity to disable: Find the entity in the tree structure under either the Volumes or Surfaces section and select it.
  3. Open the context menu: Right-click the selected entity to open the context menu.
  4. Disable the entity: Select the Disable option from the context menu.
  5. Check the disabled entity: The entity moves to the DISABLED section within the tree structure, under either the Volumes or Surfaces category.
  6. Enable a disabled entity: To restore a disabled entity, right-click it in the DISABLED section and select Enable.
  7. Entity is re-enabled: The entity returns to the ENABLED section and becomes active in the project.
  8. Enable/Disable multiple entities: To manage multiple entities at once, hold the Shift key while selecting them in the tree view, then right-click and choose Enable or Disable.
